With four minutes left in the first quarter, the Mifflin County Huskies intercepted the ball, taking over offense. A few minutes later, Braylin Carter intercepted it back with one minute left. After a few good tackles and runs, the first quarter ended with a 0-0 score.
By halftime, the Huskies are up 6-0. Here is what Danielle Daukshus predicts for the second half of the game.
“I think that we’re gonna score in the third quarter. At least one touchdown plus the extra point. I think we’ll win.”
Lawrence Carter predicts that the Falcons will get a touchdown, but no extra point.
After two more touchdowns by the Huskies, they also intercepted the ball with two minutes left, getting another touchdown. Another one coming shortly after. Despite the Falcons’ determination, the game ended with a 35-0 score, the Huskies taking the win.
