Next week starts Keystone testing for the Lower Dauphin School District.
Sophomores are expected to take the biology and literature Keystones. Freshmen are to take the algebra Keystones.
Literature Keystones for sophomores start on May 12th and end on the 13th. Biology Keystones start on May 14th and end on the 15th.
Algebra Keystones for freshmen start on May 21st and end on the 22nd.
The tests are coming to students this year with a new look. The testing has gone all online. This comes with many new challenges for students.
Freshman Mia Ritter, says, “I am nervous for the Keystones this year. It is my first year taking them so I do not know what to expect when taking the test. I have prepared myself by doing my homework each day and asking questions to my teacher.”
Even though Keystones have gone digital, it is still the same test. That calms nerves for some.
Junior Hannah Richmond, says, “It is important to not be nervous to take the test. Make sure you study and know the information and you will be fine to take the test.”
