Want to own a fighter jet? Well, now’s your chance! Liquid Death, a popular drink brand, has announced the giveaway of a customized L-39C Aero jet, dubbed the “Dehydrator”. All you have to do is purchase a can of Liquid Death.
Liquid Death is a brand known for their bold, unorthodox marketing and branding. With this promotion, they are seemingly spoofing the Pepsi jet giveaway incident, where Pepsi was taken to court over a failed giveaway where they promised to potentially give away a Harrier fighter jet.
Lower Dauphin students are conflicted on the giveaway. “I love this!” Says junior Seth Kazinski. Junior Jasmine Prieto has the opposite opinion. “That’s cool, but I wouldn’t really want a jet,” Prieto said. However, Liquid Death has stated that if you do not want the jet, you can get $250,000 instead.
If you want to enter the giveaway, you need to take a photo of a receipt containing a Liquid Death product, and then upload a picture of it on Liquid Death’s website. Each can is one entry, and each person can have up to 400 entries.
