As of Wed. Oct. 4, Mr. Lorditch will no longer be teaching at Lower Dauphin High School. Mr. Lorditch, the science teacher of room 705, will be leaving LDHS to be teaching at Palmyra High School. As the date approaches, Mr. Lorditch recalls why he started teaching.
“I started teaching for the kids. I liked how my teachers growing up taught me science too, such as sky calendars.”
Although he has not been at the high school long, I interviewed some of his students on why they liked him as a teacher and why they will miss him.
“He always helps me when I need help and he is super nice,” said junior Eva Morales.
“I like Mr. Lorditch because of his love for science, and I’ll miss him because he made science fun,” quoted freshman Lily Kratz.
“I like Mr.Lorditch because he is very helpful if you ask questions. I will miss him because I like his teaching style and how interested he is in the topics he teaches.” -Vaci Petrovich
If you have the time, make sure to stop by room 705 to say your goodbyes to our science teacher, Mr.Lorditch. Although he will be missed, we all hope he enjoys continuing teaching about the wonders of science.
