Flash Awards

Sophomore Tavian Boone won second place in the Review Category for his “Top 10 Albums of 2022.” Sophomore Jaime Gallick won third place in the Feature Category for his “How to Protect Your Air Jordans from a Main Battle Tank.” Junior Peter Otto won an honorable mention in the Sport Story Category for his “The Top 5 Players Snubbed from the NBA All-Star Game.” Senior Carly Stephens won an honorable mention in the Review Category for “Spotify vs. Apple Music.

FBC Awards

A special thank you to Mrs. Tess Stavenski, psychology/sociology/history teacher and Mr. Dave Machamer, athletic first aid/health/PE teacher for being featured in the FBC videos. Their interviews/presence are a huge reason why the following videos won.

Seniors Bridget Lawn and Hannah McConnell won second place in the Video News Story Category for “The Idaho Murders: The Mind of a Serial Killer” (featuring Mrs. Tess Stavenski). Juniors Evan Wagner, Luke Mease and Kyle Barber won third place in the Video News Story Category for “Damar Hamlin, Close to Home” (featuring Mr. Dave Machamer). Juniors Trey Harper and Connor Roth won an honorable mention in the Video News Story Category for “The Billion Dollar Lottery.
