Personal Development Discontinued

Everyone knows Mrs. McGinnis is retiring at the end of the year and with her, personal development. McGinnis was the one who started the class, so the school decided they would not hire a new teacher to take over teaching personal development. Instead, the school is hiring a science teacher to start a STEM class. Everyone who took personal development loved it and it gave them new skill sets without filling their schedule with different classes in the same subject. “It’s very sad and there’s a lot of incoming freshmen who signed up for the class who can no longer take it.” Carly Stephens. As long as we still have the other culinary and design and textiles classes, it will not truly be lost. Lower Dauphin will truly miss Mrs. McGinnis and her class.
