
The Radio City Rockettes are celebrating their 100th year anniversary this Christmas season.
The Radio City Rockettes are best known for their precision dancing and technique in the styles of ballet, tap, and jazz. The Radio City Rockettes started in 1925 as the “Missouri Rockettes,” and have been performing at the famous Radio City in the Big Apple ever since. The Radio City Rockettes are annually featured as dancers in the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade, as well as “Saturday Night Live.”
The Radio City Rockettes are mainly known for their famous kickline. The Rockettes are the longest-running Precision dance company in America. The Radio City Rockettes annual “Christmas Spectacular” includes a performance with a variety of numbers, including “The Parade of the Wooden Soldiers,” “12 days of Christmas,” and the “Dance of the Frost Fairies.”
