Your favorite album doesn’t only sound good, it may be good for your mental health. When it comes to what helped those that are struggling or were struggling mentally, music is frequently listed. Research shows that music can have a beneficial effect on the brain and is often seen as a personal form of therapy. Music is a way to boost your moods, can take you from feeling down to having the time of your life. Whether the music is in the background or in your ears, research proves that those that listen to music frequently had a small impact on their mental health. Along with the songs that we listen to comes the person behind the songs. Music artists are often seen to be a safe space that people find comfort in. Music artists are known to be role models, provide motivation, and overall save lives. Becoming involved with your favorite music artists leads to friendship and overall a raise of happiness. Those that are often heard to be the reason some are still alive are Harry Styles, Billie Eilish, Taylor Swift, Ariana Grande and so many more. But, how? What do these artists do that are different from others? Those listed are known for being interactive with fans and great people. Harry excepting those for whoever they are, and constantly being on tour is somewhere I personally can find an extreme amount of comfort. Overall, if you find yourself struggling with mental illness, find music to listen to and fide the comfort you need, as music is proven to provide the happiness and improvement needed in difficult times.
