There has been lots of talk lately of whether or not the Tokyo Olympics will still be held due to recent Covid spikes. The Tokyo Olympics are scheduled to be held between the 28th of July and the 8th of August. There are some events that are to be held in Sapporo in Hokkaido which is currently under a state of emergency. There has been lots of question as to if Japan will be able to contain their number of Covid cases. Japan had had a low number of cases until a recent spike which has lead them to 720,000 cases and 12,200 deaths. As of now the 2020 Tokyo Olympics will still be held.
