On September 27th, Oregon beat Penn State in a double overtime thriller. The final score of the game ended up being 30-24.
The game went back and forth the entire time. Oregon ended up capitalizing on Penn State’s mistakes though.
Oregon player, Dillion Thineman, intercepted Penn State quarterback Drew Allar’s pass to turn the possession back over to Oregon. The interception led to the game-winning drive for the Ducks.
Michael Dugan, a junior, says, “It was very disheartening seeing Drew Allar throw an interception. I watched the entire game so it was disappointing to see it end like that.”
Oregon remains as the team to beat in the BIG Ten. Many Penn State fans are getting tired of history repeating itself.
Evan Porter, a junior, says, “It is very difficult being a Penn State fan. We are so close every year and the same things end up happening.”
