Lower Dauphin softball lost to Hershey for the first time in twenty three years.
The Falcons have tied the series with the Trojans. The first time the Falcons played the Trojans they came out on top.
The Falcons collected a total of eleven hits, while Hershey only had ten.
Freshman Jordan Frye, went four for four with one homerun. She had three RBIs and scored twice.
Senior Sammie Gallick says, “They have been coming closer and closer to beating us. Next year we will come back out on top.”
Junior Carissa Wenner and Sophomore Sadie Borrelli split pitching time for the Falcons. Borrelli had a total of four strikeouts. Wenner had two.
Borrelli says, “I feel like they just caught us on an off day. If we see them again in the postseason we will hopefully come out on top.”
The final score of the game was 5-4.
