The Lady Falcons got a ten- run rule win over McDevitt yesterday.
Starting pitcher for the Falcons, Sydney Matincheck, allowed just three hits and had eight strikeouts. She pitched the whole game.
Matincheck says, “Going into the game I knew that my offense and my defense would support me while I was on the mound, and they did. We worked as a team and we were able to pull out the win in six innings. Freshman Jordan Frye, went 4 for 5 having two home runs and two doubles.
Junior Carissa Wenner and Senior Sammie Gallick both had two hits.
Junior Lila Markowitz brought in some runs on a double in the fifth inning.
The score of the game ended in a solid 14-3 win for the Lady Falcons.
