The Lower Dauphin Falcons baseball team is on a roll to start their season with a record 10-1. Their only loss comes from a good Spring Grove Rockets team by a 10-7 score.

The Falcons have outscored their opponents 81-38. The team is overall a really great squad with a loaded pitching rotation including Andrew Bell, Trey Harper, Tyce Fischl, Hunter Gundy, Noah Heath, Ethan Duff and Connor Hanula. Through 11 games, only allowing 38 runs. Heath has the most strikeouts with 19 and Gundy is a bit behind Heath with 15.

This team can also hit with an average of over seven runs a game. The team has a batting average of .304 and also tallied up 4 homeruns so far Luke Warner leads the team in hits this season with 14. Hunter Strohm and Casey Westerberg are slightly behind with 13. Noah Heath tallied 11 hits as well. Eight of the players are hitting above .300 this season. Strohm, Duff, Ellis Snow, and Luke Warner all have one each homerun.

Andrew Bell said this about his dominant team, “We have a very strong team compared to last year. The team has implemented many new strategies to help the team win. Alongside this, the pitching staff is very dominant this year. Players such as Tyce Fischl, Hunter Gundy, Trey Harper, Ethan Duff, Noah Heath and myself have kept teams on the edge. We were expected to be fourth in the Keystone [division] which was a major kick in the butt to get the team motivated. I am very excited to see what the team has left for the second half of the season.”

The Falcons will play a good Mechanicsburg Wildcats team at home on Apr. 20 looking to stay hot.
