Mrs. Morgan Smith had a positive high school experience and a love for English and that is what brought her to LDHS this year.

“It just seemed like the perfect combination,” she said.

Mrs. Morgan Smith has been teaching for six years. Smith teaches College Prep and Career Prep English for all 9th graders.

Smith attended Elizabethtown College before realizing she wanted to teach. She previously taught at Dallastown High school and was previously involved in Mini-THON there.

When Smith was asked why she chose LDHS, she answered with, “I just love the atmosphere, and I think the students and the staff have a family-like vibe.”

Elise Farling, student of Mrs. Smith said, “Mrs. Smith is so nice and helpful. She is helping us out so much.”

Smith is not yet involved in any extracurricular activities but in the future she is looking forward to getting involved in Mini-THON. This year she will chaperone at LDHS 2023 Mini-THON.

Smith is looking forward to spreading her wisdom to every single student and allowing them to have a great high school experience just like she did.
