LD Girls’ Tennis picks up their second win of the season over Red Land

After a dominant 4-1 win over Mifflin County last Tuesday, September 6, Lower Dauphin Girls’ Tennis dropped a match against Mechanicsburg, falling 1-4. The win over Mifflin County was just their first win of the season, making the match with Red Land a vital one at setting the rest of the campaign up for success.

The Falcons did not fall short this time, winning a thrilling 3-2 barnburner. Emily O’Donnell and Brenna Tressler the won the first doubles match, Juliet Youngbluth and Sammie Gallick won the second doubles match and Addy Misiolek won her singles match.

Misiolek’s match was the determining factor in the match, with her winning the deciding point to claim victory.

The team will look to continue their success at State College on Friday at 4:00 P.M.
