The University of Notre Dame is a private university located in South Bend, Indiana. Notre Dame has a tight acceptance rate of 15%, but once you are there you are almost guaranteed to graduate since they have a graduation rate of 97%. The average cost runs around $31,000, which for a private university is a great choice. To get into the school you need at least a 2.5 gpa on a 4.0 scale, a minimum ACT score of 19, and a minimum SAT score of 900.

Notre Dame is known for their wide variety of good sports teams. They have 26 varsity sports teams. A major highlight has been the baseball team making it to the College World Series in Omaha last year s well as their dominant football team making an appearance in a bowl game almost every year. Notre Dame also has 500 plus student run organizations. Getting involved at the school is no problem at all.

Outside of sports they are also a catholic college. They do a lot of things around the religion, but this does not mean you need to be catholic to attend school in Notre Dame.

Notre Dame has more than 60 different majors ranging from Chinese to Sports, Media, and Culture. Some more Majors would include Gender Studies, Greek, Education, Anthropology and more. There are also some minors including Real Estate and Accounting.

Other than just school and activities Notre Dame offers some very nice architecture on campus. A known piece would be the “Touchdown Jesus” which is located right outside of the football stadium.

So, if you would like to go to school in Indiana with a lot of sports interactions, Notre Dame could be the school for you.
