Addressing the Shattered Window in the 1000 Wing

Carly S.

Last month, students and staff walked into school and noticed something odd outside of the 1000 wing – one of the windows was shattered. Believe it or not, this isn’t the first time LDHS has had a shattered window. Just last year, one of the windows outside of the 800 wing was shattered very similarly, but it has since been replaced.

Many students and staff members were curious as to how the window shattered. Supposedly, someone accidentally struck it by throwing a ball. Fortunately, this incident didn’t pose a threat to anyone’s safety, as the window was shattered from the outside. None of the glass was found on the interior of the building.
