Falling for fashion

It is officially time to put away the sundresses and the jean shorts and bring out the fall clothes.

As the seasons change, the weather gets colder, and peoples outfits get more fabulous. Students around Lower Dauphin gave some insight of what their favorite fall fashion trends are. Riana Agili-Shaban said “I always bring out my doc martens when fall starts, they always make an outfit better.” “I love mom and dad jeans, like the baggy jeans,” says Kelsey Epoca. Trade in your skinny jeans for baggy jeans, because they are way trendier right now. Having no rips in jeans are better for the colder seasons as well, considering it keeps you warmer too. Majority of people said they are going to be wearing flannels. Plaid is a huge fall staple, whether it’s in the form of a flannel, pants, skirt, or more. Another article of clothing we see come out in the fall is a sweater. There are many different variations of sweaters, including oversized, cropped, knit, and even sweater vests. Sweater vests are such a cute fall fashion trend, especially when paired over a turtleneck. Colder weather means having to layer to keep warm. Shackets, a shirt jacket, are a great fall layering piece and they are super in trend right now. Ella Blazi says “Shackets are super cute!” Some stores to find fashionable fall clothes are H&M, Forever 21, Pacsun, Zara, and Aritzia. They all have both mens and womens clothing. Fall has officially started and winter is just around the corner. Make sure you are keeping warm, fashionably.
