After the Manchester show of her Dangerous Woman world tour, a suicide bomber detonated in the lobby as fans exited killing 22 and injuring dozens more. The Islamic State claimed responsibility for the attack. Grief was expressed throughout the country and world. A moment of silence was held at the Queen’s garden party and Prime Minister Theresa May said, “All acts of terrorism are cowardly, but this attack stands out for its appalling sickening cowardice, deliberately targeting innocent, defenseless children and young people who should have been enjoying one of the most memorable nights of their lives.”
